How do you make this homemade carrot soap?

Homemade carrot soap is easy to make and the ingredients can be found at the supermarket at affordable prices. To make it, you don’t need to get any of the chemicals and complicated substances regular soaps have. However, p lease keep in mind that the color of the soap will vary according to the quality of the ingredients. The fact that you are using only natural products means no color additives will be added to the mixture, and thus your soap could vary in color from one to the other.

Ingredients

  • 300 ml coconut oil
  • 400 ml olive oil
  • 100 ml almond oil
  • 200 ml of water used for cooking carrots
  • 100 g pureed carrot
  • 110g sodium hydroxide
  • ½ tablespoon pure honey
  • 10 drops carrot seed essential oil

Directions

Before starting, put on rubber gloves, make sure you have space to work with the ingredients and use wooden utensils.

  1. First, boil the carrots until soft, remove from heat and puree with a fork.
  2. Then, in a separate container, combine the pureed carrots and 200 ml of the cooking water.
  3. Next, carefully add the sodium hydroxide while stirring with a wooden spoon. Let the mixture sit for several minutes.
  4. After that, incorporate the coconut, olive, and almond oils along with the honey and carrot seed essential oil into the mixture.
  5. Then, stir with a wooden spoon. You’ll notice the mixture will start to thicken.
  6. Finally, pour the mixture into silicone molds and let it harden for 2 days before using.

The result will be a soap that’s free of chemicals, made with ingredients that are good for your skin. Now, you can use it to clean your face daily or use it to replace your body soap. Above all, however, take care of your soap to maximize its effectiveness. For better storage, avoiding leaving it in a humid area. Also, place it in an airtight container or soap dish after each use.
