Cucumbers contain silica, which helps maintain shiny, healthy hair and nails. Their high sulfur content also increases hair growth.

If you grate a cucumber and apply it to your skin for twenty minutes, it helps to eliminate spots and blackheads, while hydrating and refreshing your skin.

They help provide hangover relief

Cucumbers can even help treat hangovers.
