Juices to Strengthen the Immune System
It’s important to strengthen the immune system is very important because if it isn’t in good condition it’s far more likely that we’ll get sick. We could say that this system is like an army that is ready to defend our body from enemies, which are nothing more than diseases of any origin.
Increasing defenses prevents diseases
When our defenses are high, our body is able to defend itself and attack any threat, be it a virus or bacteria. If it’s weakened in any way, pathogens can enter the body without any problem or obstacle.
The immune system identifies and destroys these aggressors, recognizes them, and remembers them if they want to enter again. It fights against any element harmful to health thanks to lymphocytes (i.e. white blood cells) and antibodies (protein molecules).
This isn’t the only purpose of our defenses, they also prevent premature aging and, above all, its consequences in people.
Many factors can weaken the immune system, among them the following:
- Emotional states
- HIV/AIDS
- Cancer
- Nutrient deficiency
- Inflammatory bowel diseases
- Medical procedures (medications, surgeries, treatments, etc).
