2. Ginseng Tea

Ginseng is a root that increases insulin sensitivity and helps the body to use it more effectively. Drinking ginseng tea will significantly reduce your blood sugar levels.


  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • 1 ginseng root


  • Take the ginseng, wash it well, and slice it. Place it in a teacup.
  • Add the boiling water and leave it to steep for 5 minutes.
  • If you like, you can sweeten it with a little honey or sweetener.
  • We recommend you drink this twice a day, maximum.

3. Juices With Linseed

Linseed has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detox properties. It can be consumed many different ways, whether with food or drink.

  • 2 tablespoons of ground linseed (30 g)
  • 1 glass of water (250 ml)

  • Leave it to soak in the water overnight. The following morning, prepare a juice of your preference and mix it with the water.

4. Mango Leaf Infusion

The leaves of the mango tree have medicinal properties for hypertension, asthma, diabetes, and diarrhea. They can stimulate the production of insulin and, therefore, help in stabilizing blood sugar levels.

They also contain flavonoids, gallic acid, caffeic acid, and vitamins A, B, and C. Drinking an infusion of this plant on an empty stomach will help regulate your blood sugar levels.


  • 10 mango leaves
  • 4 cups of water (1 litre)


  • Boil the water, then add the mango leaves and leave them on the heat for a few minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and leave the infusion to cool.
  • Remove the leaves and drink.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar helps to cleanse and regenerate the body. 

It contains vitamins A and B, enzymes, calcium, potassium, iron, and other minerals which are good for your body. Taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water will help for stabilizing blood sugar levels.

Although you can buy organic apple cider vinegar, you can also make your own at home!


  • 10 ripe organic apples
  • 2 glasses of water (500 ml)


  • Wash, peel, and chop the apples.
  • Use a blender to make apple juice and process with water.
  • Fill a wide glass bowl up to halfway with the juice.
  • Cover it with clingfilm and leave it for 4 to 5 weeks at a temperature between 18 and 20° C so that it ferments.
  • Pout the liquid into a clean and wide bowl, cover it with a cloth, and leave it in a warm place for three days.
  • Finally, filter the vinegar and keep it in a dark bottle so that it doesn’t spoil. It’s now ready to use.

With these simple remedies, you’ll be able to regulate your blood sugar levels. Remember, if you’re diabetic, these remedies should be a complement, not a replacement for your medication.
