Recipe 1
They say that the best preparations are homemade because they’re much healthier. That’s why it’s great to learn how to make barbecue sauce. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy it because you can add it to any recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of jaggery (120 g)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (30 mL)
- 1/4 cup of tomato sauce (60 mL)
- 3 tablespoons of vinegar (45 mL)
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil (45 mL)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (15 g)
- 1 cup of water (250 mL)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt (8 g)

Directions
- First, put the jaggery in a pan with a cup of water and heat it over medium heat. Stir until it thickens.
- Then, add the soy sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar while stirring constantly.
- Next, remove from the heat and add the oil, salt, and garlic. Stir again so that all ingredients mix together.
- Finally, spread the barbecue sauce on the meat and put it on the grill.
Recipe 2
On this occasion, you won’t need to do any type of cooking to prepare this recipe. Also, it’s perfect to put on chicken wings, ribs, and juicy steaks.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of honey (30 g)
- 1/2 cup of water (125 mL)
- 1 tablespoon of hot sauce (15 mL)
- 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce (60 mL)
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce (30 mL)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce (30 mL)
- 1 pinch of salt (5 g)
- 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice (30 mL)
- 2 garlic cloves
Directions
- Start by taking a medium-sized bowl and mix the tomato sauce with the honey and water.
- Then, add the soy sauce, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl and stir a little.
- Next, add the salt, crushed garlic cloves and the spoonfuls of pineapple juice. Stir again so the flavors mix together.
- Finally, brush the meat with the barbecue sauce and then put them on the grill. Enjoy!

- 2 onions (200 g)
- 1 tablespoon of chopped paprika (15 g)
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (30 g)
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce (30 mL)
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard (15 mL)
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (15 mL)
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce (30 mL)
- 4 tablespoons of vinegar (60 mL)
- 2 spoons of honey (30 mL)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (15 mL)
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (8 g)
- 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
- 1/4 cup of water (60 mL)

Directions
- To begin with, cut the onions into small pieces and saute them with a bit of olive oil, salt and brown sugar until they become tender and caramelize.
- Next, add the tomato sauce along with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Dijon mustard, honey and black pepper. Stir so that everything mixes well.
- Then, add a little water to dilute the sauce.
- Then, cover and let it cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat, and wait for it to cool down a bit.
