Ingredients to avoid

  • 3 figs, dried or fresh. If using dried figs, you’ll need to soak them for at least 2 hours.
  • 30 raw pumpkin seeds, peeled ahead of time.
  • ½ cup water, natural juice without sugar, or a vegetable based drink.

Papaya and kefir

Papaya is a tropical fruit that’s good for treating a variety of illnesses of the gastrointestinal tract, including parasites. Adding a few of its seeds to your shake will increase its therapeutic properties.

Kefir is a fermented dairy product that improves the bacterial flora in the intestines, making it essential for fighting parasites. These two ingredients combine to make a delicious shake with a creamy texture that’s great for the whole family. You can also sweeten it with a little stevia.

  • ½ cup peeled papaya
  • 15 papaya seeds
  • ½ cup kefir (if you make it yourself you can use goat’s milk for its even lower lactose content.)

Grapefruit and olive oil

  • A peeled grapefruit with the seeds intact
  • A tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
