As you well know, the arms and hands are some of the most exposed parts of our bodies, exposed to the dangers of the elements in our everyday lives.  That’s why, in this article, we’re going to give you a few simple steps to successfully exfoliate your arms and hands.

However, before we begin, we need to highlight the importance of carrying out these tips no more than twice a week, due to how the sun’s rays can make your skin so sensitive.

Exfoliate your arms and hands

Hand dryness is quite common among people of all ages. It’s usually due to several factors, such as domestic chores, exposure to the sun, and so on. For this first natural remedy to exfoliate your arms and hands, you’ll need to make a simple homemade mask with the following ingredients:

  • Two tablespoons of honey
  • One potato
  • Two tablespoons of milk
  • And, finally, two tablespoons of olive oil

First of all, boil the potato. Then peel it and puree it. After that, add the olive oil, milk and honey. Mix well until the paste no longer has any lumps, and you’re left with a smooth texture. The next step is to apply it to your hands. Let it sit for 20 minutes, and then rinse with warm water.

Sugar and honey

A spoonful of sugar

If what you’re looking for are very soft arms and hands, there’s nothing better than sugar and honey as they are excellent exfoliants. Mix a bit of honey with sugar and let it get to work for 10 minutes.  Give yourself small massages to improve absorption; this will also be very relaxing. Finally, wash off with warm water.
