1. Mint and turmeric masks

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder (3 g)
  • 2 teaspoons of mint tea (10 ml)

Preparation

  • Firstly, prepare the mint tea.
  • Separate two teaspoons of the tea in a container.
  • Then combine the two ingredients to form a paste.

Use

  • Apply the mask onto the areas with acne scarring using a brush.
  • Leave on for 30 minutes.
  • Wash off with warm water.
  • Finally, if you feel that your skin gets dry, apply a little anti-comedogenic moisturizer.

2. Turmeric and sandalwood mask

This turmeric and sandalwood mask is very aromatic, and will help you to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder (5 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of warm milk (5 ml)

Preparation

  • Firstly, combine the three ingredients just before using.

Use

  • Apply the mixture onto the areas with acne scars (already washed).
  • Leave on for 30 minutes.
  • Wash off with water and a neutral soap.

3. Honey and turmeric masks

  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g)
  • 2 and a half tablespoons of organic honey (25 g)

Preparation

  • Firstly, combine the two ingredients in a heat-resistant bowl.
  • Heat up the mixture in the microwave for one minute.

Use

  • Wash your face and dry completely.
  • Then apply the mask using a brush.
  • Leave on for 20 minutes.
  • Finally, wash off with warm water and apply your usual moisturizer.

4. Turmeric and coconut oil mask

Coconut oil is easily absorbed and leaves the skin very soft. As such it’s perfect to mix with a little turmeric powder.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons of coconut oil (15 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g)

Preparation

  • Combine the two ingredients. If the coconut oil is solid, just mix it around with a spoon. You can also microwave it for a minute.

Use

  • Firstly, wash your face with neutral soap.
  • Then, apply mask and leave on for 15 minutes.
  • Wash off with plenty of soap and water.

5. Turmeric mask with rose water and chickpea flour

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour (20 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of rose water (30 ml)

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the turmeric and chickpea flour.
  • Then add the rose water slowly, mixing as you add.

Use

  • Apply the paste onto the areas where you want to eliminate acne scars.
  • Leave on for 15 minutes.
  • Finally, wash off with cold water.
