The health benefits of clay on your hair

Clay is a natural ingredient that’s become widely popular as a cosmetic treatment for hair and skin in most spas. It stands out for its wonderful concentration of nutrients, such as those derived from aluminum silicate and colloidal iron hydroxide.

It also contains potassium, boron, sulfur, calcium and other elements whose assimilation helps improve the health of your skin and hair. In the case of hair, clay helps restore its lost keratin caused by environmental aggressions. Likewise, it:

  • Removes excess fat and dead cells.
  • Gets rid of impurities that block hair follicles.
  • Strengthens the scalp.
  • Seals the strands.
  • Hydrates so it reduces dryness.

The benefits of coconut oil to revitalize hair

Coconut oil is one of the most commonly used natural cosmetics. Not only does it contribute to maintaining healthy skin, but it also strengthens your hair and helps you with other hair conditions such as dandruff and scalp psoriasis, among others. Estimates indicate that 50% of its composition is lauric acid, a component with antifungal and antibacterial properties which is ideal for preventing scalp infections. Also, this substance promotes the production of hair protein, which is what keeps it strong.

Similarly, its medium-chain fatty acids help regulate the pH of your scalp and keep problems such as excessive dryness or excessive fat production at bay. So, it’s suitable for all types of hair.

Among its other benefits, it:

  • Stimulates hair growth.
  • Contributes to repairing split ends.
  • Provides hydration and repairs some of the damage caused by exposure to the sun.
  • Restores brightness and vitality.
  • Conditions the hair.
  • Nourishes and moisturizes the hair.
