  • Cloves, an orange, or candle of that fruit
  • Lavender flower

Scented candles are preferred by many because they keep the bathroom scented for several days. Best of all, you don’t need to buy them; you can make them yourself and with your favorite fragrance!

What do you need to do?

Creating your ecological scented candle is very easy; you just need to get a container where you can melt the natural wax in a water bath. Once melted, add a few drops of essential oil. Keep in mind that the more drops you add, the more intense and pure the scent of the candle will be.

Before adding the wax and oil mixture, place the wick in the mold. Wait about 10 hours for it to cool and compact. That’s it! Your scented candle is ready to use.

You can place it above the sink or in any corner of the bathroom. Just be careful that there is no flammable material near it.

4. Gel air fresheners for bath fragrances

There are many gel air fresheners on the market, and most people think that they’re a bit difficult to make. The truth is far from the truth.

What do you need?

  • Any essential oil of your preference
  • Neutral gelatin (the kind you use for dessert)
  • Food coloring

Bring 250 milliliters of water to a boil in a saucepan. When it comes to a boil, remove it from the heat and add the neutral gelatin. Stir until it’s completely dissolved. Then, pour 250 milliliters more water, but this time at room temperature.

Now, add a few drops of essential oil. The more you add, the more concentrated it will be.

Finally, add a teaspoon of food coloring and stir and then refrigerate. When the mixture condenses, it’s ready to use.

  3. Likewise, add several drops of oil to cotton balls and place them at the bottom of the wastebasket. The idea is that every time you change bags, you pour new cotton pads with oil or softener.
