So, if you’re starting to notice the first ones, don’t worry. We’re going to give you some tips on how to hide gray hair in this article. Keep reading!

What causes gray hair?

It’s a clear sign of aging, although some younger people get gray hair before they’re 35. It’s easier to spot in people with dark hair. Just like with wrinkles, most people look for ways to hide gray hair or avoid it altogether. Although it’s inevitable, you can slow it down with home remedies or hide it with natural dyes.

The passage of time is the main cause behind this change in color. The age when gray hairs first generally depends on the genes you inherited from your mother. For example, if your mother had a lot of gray hair at an early age, it’s very likely that you’ll also have gray hair by 40 (or earlier).

The cause is a lack of melanin, the natural pigment that gives hair its color. Things like stress or an unhealthy lifestyle can also contribute to gray hair starting to show up before it normally would have. Some people even say that heavy consumption of refined flours and sugars is another cause, although this hasn’t been proven.
