Many people want to show off a flat stomach. Having abdominal inflammation is not only aesthetically unpleasing, but it could also be a sign that something is going wrong in your body.  More than likely, your health has been compromised, which is why your abdomen is reacting by swelling.

Processed foods are another things that causes abdominal inflammation.  A lot of gastroenterologists confirm that some people have excess air in the stomach which is caused by eating too many artificially sweetened foods.  Generally these types of foods are high in sodium and low in fiber, two substances that will quickly inflame the abdomen.  That’s why experts recommend that when buying your food, try to get foods that are low in sodium or sodium-free.
