About the author

He graduated in Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1978. She has a Master's degree in Bioethics and Law from the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2010. She also received a Diploma in Scientific Journalism from Favaloro University (Argentina ) from an Editorial Profile Scholarship in 2018.

She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the "Ricardo Gutiérrez" Children's General Hospital (Buenos Aires) and later co-founded the Adolescence section of said institution. From 2014 to 2018, she was vice president of the Argentine Society for Comprehensive Adolescent Health (SASIA).

She currently works in the private sector in health institutions in the area of Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. She's also a teacher in the Bioethics Program from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), with extensive experience in online education, and is the author of the Bioethics Blog of the same program.

Furthermore, she's co-coordinator of the Saludyadolezca training space, a current member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), and a speaker on childhood and adolescent health issues in national and international contexts.
