About the author
Silvia is a doctor in Clinical and Health Psychology and a specialist in Clinical and Educational Psychology and in Psychotherapy (European Certificate EFPA), with more than 18 years of experience. In addition, she is a university professor, lecturer, science communicator, and writer.
She combines her activity as director of the children's area of the Álava Reyes Psychology Center with teaching in Master's degrees and university specialization courses such as the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology at the Alfonso Décimo el Sabio University (UAX); the Master's degree in teacher training at the Rey Juan Carlos University and the Master's degrees in Child and Adolescent Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid and the ISPCS (European Institute of Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology), as well as psychology teaching on various media such as, for example, the program Saber Vivir on TVE's La2 channel.
She is accredited as a general health psychologist and is the author of the books 'We want happy children. What they never taught us' and 'We want them to grow up happy. From childhood to adolescence', and co-author of the encyclopedia 'The Psychology that helps us to live' and the book 'Stories to eat without stories'.
