Manuel Antonio Fernández

Physician and specialist in Pediatric Neurology.


Graduated in Medicine from the University of Cádiz and specialist in Pediatric Neurology at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital in Seville. He has completed several master's programs related to health and business management. He is currently director of the Andalusian Institute of Pediatric Neurology (INANP) and director of the Master's degree in Neuropaediatrics and Neurodevelopment at CEU Cardenal Herrera University.

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Cádiz (2004). He completed his training with a Master's degree in Clinical Trials from the University of Seville (2011), a Master's degree in TDH from the Pablo de Olavide University (2012), a Master's degree in Management and Planning of Assistance Services from the CTO Business School (2013) and a Master's degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of La Rioja (2014).

He also has a Diploma in Advanced Health Studies (2007) and the title of expert in Pediatric Neurology from the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital (2010). He has also completed several Master's programs in leadership, entrepreneurship and business management.

He works as director of the Andalusian Institute of Pediatric Neurology (INANP) and coordinator of the online Master's degree in Pediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment at CEU Cardenal Herrera University. In addition, he is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Manual of Health Care Centers without Internment in the Agency for Health Quality of Andalusia.

He has numerous awards such as the 2018 Doctoralia Awards Prize for Best Pediatrician in Spain, second runner-up for the Doctoralia Awards Prize as Best Pediatrician in Spain in the 2014 and 2017 editions. In addition, in 2016 he obtained the Gold Medal of the European Forum Cum Laude and the Gold Star of the Institute for Professional Excellence.

He has collaborated in various media such as the Diario de Sevilla, EuropaSur and Aula Nesplora.
