A medical specialist in internal medicine and psychoanalysis. Alejandra Menassa has taught, published books and research articles on psychosomatic illnesses, participated in national and international congresses, and collaborated as a disseminator for different media, among other things.

About the author

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Alcalá de Henares (1996). She has a specialty in Internal Medicine from the Hospital Doce de Octubre (2002), a Master's degree in Assessment of Bodily and Psychosocial Damage from the European Institute  (2014) and the title of Expert in Judicial Psychological Expertise by the Alborán Institute of Psychology.

From 2005 to the present, she has been a professor in the Department of Higher Business Training, an associate professor of practices in the Emergency Service at the Complutense University at the Doce de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, and a speaker at the Sigmund Freud and Medicine seminars. Psychosomatics in the Grupo Cero School of Psychoanalysis.

From 2014 to the present day, she has served as head of the Mental Health Unit of the Integrative Medicine Clinic (CMI). She is vice president of the Spanish Society of Health and Integrative Medicine (SESMI) and a member of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) .

She has developed several research projects, and published articles in scientific journals and books on psychoanalysis and psychosomatic illnesses. She collaborates with various media and gives conferences, courses and conferences in different organizations, hospitals and events.
