About the author
Lourdes is an expert in Pharmacy who graduated in 2014 from the University of Seville and is currently a doctoral student in Molecular Biology, Biomedicine and Clinical Research at the same institution. In the last four years , she has devoted herself to strengthening her professional knowledge through different courses and specializations, among which the following stand out: Nutrition and sports from the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE), at the University of Seville, held in 2017; Pharmaceutical Care. Food preparations in the community pharmacy of Aula Mayo, certified by the Continuing Education Commission of the National Health System in 2017; How genomes evolved and Nutrition, Genes and Health of the University of Navarra (2016-2017); Health Biotechnology from the Camilo José Cela University in 2015, and Health Education in Food and Nutrition from the Rey Juan Carlos University in 2014. She has extensive experience in written and oral communication, both in English and Spanish, and a high level of interest in science popularization issues. In 2014 and 2015, for 6 months, she participated in supervised internships at the Santa Marina Pharmacy, in Córdoba.
