How to make potato skin water for your hair

There is no specific recipe for extracting the properties from potato skins for your hair.  Generally, all you need to do is boil the peels in enough water, and then use the water as the remedy.


  • Peels from 5 potatoes
  • Water (however much necessary)


  • Boil the potato skins in a pot with water and once boiling, reduce heat and cook for an additional 30 minutes to get the concentrated liquids.
  • Once ready, remove from heat and allow to cool.  Pour the liquid in a jar after straining.

Application method

  • Simply wash your hair as normal, but use the potato skin water for your final rinse.
  • This treatment should be repeated two or three times a week and shortly you will notice healthier hair.

In order realize just how good this treatment is, all you need to do is try it for a few weeks.  Although results are not noticeable immediately, you will see the difference within a few days after consistent usage.
