Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of butter (60 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast (15 g)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour (360 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
  • ½ cup of milk (125 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce (45 ml)
  • 1 ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese (240 g)
  • 240 grams of chopped salmon
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano (15 g)

Directions

  • The first thing you need to do is make the pizza dough. To do so, mix in a bowl the butter with the yeast, eggs, flour, and salt.
  • Then, add milk and knead it until you get the consistency you desire. Form a ball and sprinkle it with a little bit more wheat flour. Then, let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • After that time has passed, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough into the shape of a pizza by calculating the size of the mold.
  • Afterward, spreads the spoonfuls of tomato sauce on the pizza base and a bit of mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Next, add the chunks of salmon to the pizza and sprinkle some oregano on top.
  • Finally, preheat the oven to 190°C (374°F) and place the pizza inside for 10 minutes. Afterward, wait for it to cool a little, then serve it and enjoy.

2. Baked sweet-and-sour salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon steaks (about 400 g)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (30 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (15 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g)
  • ½ tablespoon of pepper (8 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (15 ml)

Directions

  • First, pour the olive oil in a bowl and cut the onion and carrot into juliennes.
  • Then, place the salmon in the bowl and adds the vegetables, salt and pepper. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • Then, make the sweet and sour sauce to accompany the salmon. In a pot, heat up the water along with the soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and tomato sauce. Mix until it thickens.
  • At this point, you can pull out the salmon from the fridge, bathe it in the sweet-and-sour sauce and cover it with aluminum foil.
  • Finally, bake it 190°C (374°F) during 15 minutes, then let it cool down and serve.

3. Salmon cakes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of whole wheat flour (360 g)
  • 1/2 cup of butter (100 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of salt (30 g)
  • ½ cup of cold water (125 ml)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil (30 ml)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup of rice (100 g)
  • 2 onions (200 g)
  • 1 cup of mushrooms (120 g)
  • 240 g of salmon
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper (15 g)

Directions

  • First, in a large bowl mix the flour, egg, butter and a tablespoon of salt. Then, add water and mix until you get a dough. Place it into the refrigerator.
  • Then, cook the the rice with the sunflower oil, a little bit of water and the remaining salt.
  • Afterward, take the dough out of the fridge, flatten it and cut into two parts.
  • Add the rice and cover it with plastic wrap while you prepare the rest of the stuffing.
  • Next, cut the onion, salmon, cloves of garlic, and mushrooms into small pieces and fry in a pan with a splash of sunflower oil.
  • Now, beat the three remaining eggs in a bowl and add the sauteed salmon and pepper. Mix well.
  • Finish it by pouring the mixture in the bowl and cover it with the other layer of dough. Varnish with a little oil and place it in the oven at about 180°C (176°F) for 15 minutes.
  • Let it cool down, serve and enjoy.
