  • Don’t wear makeup. Creams and body lotions contain elements that retain heat. Therefore, it’s best not to wear makeup or use the least amount possible.
  • Don’t eat too much. Big meals generate metabolic heat and this increases body temperature. Try to only eat light meals several times a day.
  • Dampen yourself as needed. If you feel very hot, put some cold water on your neck, wrists, and forehead. It’s easier to regulate your body temperature in these spots.
  • Protect yourself when you’re going out. If you’re going out, it’s best to wear sunglasses and something to protect your head. When the sun is very intense, you should carry an umbrella. Also, wear cool shoes that don’t hinder perspiration.
