- The study was headed by Professor Gregor Reid from the University of Ontario who found that women who had breast cancer also had a higher number of Eschericha Coli and Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria present in their samples.
- These two harmful bacteria contribute to the degradation of DNA strands and prevent oxygen from getting to cells, two factors that can cause a malignant tumor to develop in the body.
- We should point out that the presence of these bacteria does not guarantee that you will develop breast cancer. However, they do increase your risk.
- If you have a family history of breast cancer or you are a smoker, then your risks are even higher.
