1. Apple cider vinegar and lavender oil
By combining apple cider vinegar with essential lavender oil, we can make an antiperspirant and antimicrobial that helps reduce excessive sweating in the armpit areas.
- ½ cup of apple cider vinegar (125 ml)
- 1 tablespoon of essential lavender oil (15 ml)
- Pour the apple cider vinegar into a container and mix it with the essential lavender oil.
- Close the container and leave it to sit for 10 to 12 hours.
- After 10 or 12 hours, dip a cotton ball into the mixture and apply it to armpits.
- Use 2 times a day if you feel that’s necessary
Note: If you have sensitive skin, dilute the mixture slightly with water.

2. Baking soda and lemon oil
Because baking soda can neutralize acids, it forms the base of a wide variety of natural treatments. We suggest mixing baking soda with lemon oil to strengthen its antiperspirant power.
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda (30 g)
- 1 teaspoon of lemon oil (5 ml)
- Mix the baking soda and lemon oil together in a bowl.
- Clean armpits and gently massage the mixture into the areas.
- Leave on for 20 minutes and wash off using a damp cloth.
- Use daily.
Note: This remedy is great for reducing dark spots and dead skin cells.
3. Sea salt and lemon juice
Sea salt’s exfoliating action unites with lemon’s organic acids to give us a solution for sweaty armpits, odor and dead skin cell build-up in the armpit zones.
- 2 tablespoons of sea salt (30 g)
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice (45 ml)
- Mix the sea salt with the lemon juice to make a grainy paste.
- Gently massage the mixture into the armpit area for 2 or 3 minutes.
- Leave on for 10 more minutes and wash off.
- Use daily.
Note: Avoid sunlight when using this remedy to prevent undesirable coloration.
4. Cornstarch and baking soda
A dry deodorant that uses cornstarch and baking soda can help keep armpits free of humidity and bacteria. In addition, the formula is gentle and helps regulate skin pH.
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch (30 g)
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda (9 g)
- 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil (30 g)
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until a homogeneous paste forms.
- Rub the treatment into armpits and leave on for 30 minutes.
- Wash off with damp cloth.
- Use 2 times a day if you need.

5. Sage and tomato
This antiperspirant tonic makes for a great alternative solution for excessive sweating that causes body odor. In addition to solving the problem, as it cleanses skin, it won’t leave the area too dry, imparting a refreshing feeling.
- 6 fresh sage leaves
- 1 ripe tomato
- Finely chop sage leaves and leave them on a cloth to extract their liquid.
- Blend in a food processor along with the ripe tomato.
- Rub the paste into armpit areas and leave on for 20 minutes.
- Wash off with cold water.
- Use at least 3 times a week.
