  • Shrimp (18 ounces)
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 small onion, cut julienne style
  • 3 finely chopped olive cloves
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (1.5 ounces)
  • 2 raw tomatoes without the skin, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oregano and chopped chives

How to prepare your tacos:

  • First, heat your olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, then add the onion and garlic.
  • Once the onion is well-cooked, add the crushed peeled tomato, shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook on medium-low heat for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Then, try the sauce and adjust the salt and pepper as necessary. You can also add other herbs or spices if you would like.
  • Heat your flour tortillas in a frying pan, 20 seconds on each side. You can also make your own.

  • 1 cup of sour cream or cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper

  • Washed and peeled shrimp (14 ounces)
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • Sunflower seed oil for frying

  • First, peel and slice your onions julienne style. Then, add the onions along with the shrimp and peppers to a frying pan previously greased with extra virgin olive oil and sautee. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Then, prepare your tacos, spreading cream cheese or sour cream on each tortilla, and adding a portion of shrimp along with your sauteed vegetables.
  • For the breaded version, coat each taco in flour, egg, and bread crumbs.
  • Then, allow the tacos to set in the refrigerator for half an hour to keep them from opening up during the frying process.
  • Pour an abundant amount of sunflower seed oil into a frying pan. Once it’s hot enough, add your tacos one at a time until they brown.
  • Once you remove your tacos from the heat, place them on a plate with a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
