  • 3.5 tablespoons of mustard
  • The zest and juice from two lemons
  • 3 or 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cube of chicken bouillon
  • Thyme (preferably fresh)
  • Oregano
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water


First of all, you need to prepare your potatoes.

  • Start by peeling and washing your potatoes well and then cutting them in strips.
  • Then, heat approximately 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan to fry your strips.
  • Next, add salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • Finally, continue to stir them in the pan until they are golden brown.
  • Set aside.

Next, you’ll need to prepare your lemon sauce:

  • Begin by beating together all of the remaining ingredients (garlic, bouillon cube, oregano, lemon juice and zest, 3.5 tablespoons of olive oil, honey, mustard, and 2 cups of water)
  • Beat well and set aside.
  • Now, preheat your oven to 400ºC.
  • Next, place the chicken pieces in an oven dish and cover them with the lemon sauce. Be sure to “bathe” the chicken well in order to cover both sides.
  • Then, add the potatoes to the pan around the chicken.
  • Now, cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for approximately half an hour. 
  • Finally, remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
