Next, we’re going to show you the most basic way to make this soap. Using glycerin is a simple method that will not bring any problems. Plus, it will help to ensure that the soap will come out well the first time.

Know that there’s is another more complex way where you can use the used oil from home, for example. However, you must also supplement it with caustic soda, a very dangerous element that can harm you while you manipulate it. So, we’re going to resort to the easy way to guarantee you success and complete safety:

Ingredients for natural soap

  • Pulp of four branches of Aloe Vera or Aloe Vera extract
  • Two bars of glycerine soap (250 grams)
  • Four tablespoons of honey
  • 100 ml of olive oil
  • The grated rind of a lemon

What you need to make it

  • A glass bowl
  • A microwave oven
  • A mixer

How to make it

  1. Take the bowl and put the two bars of glycerine soap in it. Then, put them in the microwave. Wait for them to melt. Keep an eye on them, as they may melt quickly.
  2. Then, take the pulp of aloe vera and put it inside the bowl with the four tablespoons of honey and lemon zest.
  3. Heat a little olive oil. Warm it gently so that it doesn’t lose its properties.
  4. Next, it’s time for the electric mixer. At low power, beat the mixture while we add the warm oil little by little. Blend until the mixture is smooth, with a beautiful bright color and excellent fragrance.
  5. Now, take the dough to a previously prepared mold. This mold should be square and plastic because that will be the final form that the homemade soap will take. Pour it into the mold until there are a few centimeters free. (Remember: later you will have to remove it from there, and it should be comfortable to do so.)
  6. Then, take the mold with the mixture inside to the refrigerator so that it sets properly. How long should it be there? One day is recommended.
  7. Then, you can cut it into smaller bars for daily use.

Remember, you’ve used lemon and olive oil as essential oils for this version of soap, but you can use whatever you like: rose oil, orange oil, lavender oil…

Finally, for presentation, remember that you can always cut it into special shapes: a heart, an oval, etc. Then, wrap it in attractive paper and ribbons for a beautiful gift for your loved ones. Its fragrance and its incomparable benefits for the skin are without a doubt a great gift that everyone will appreciate!
