Organic ways to get rid of ants

Garlic water

What should you do?

  • Put several cloves of crushed garlic in a pot of water and let it sit for at least 24 hours
  • After a day has passed, simmer the garlic for 15 minutes.
  • Pour the liquid into a spray bottle and apply it liberally wherever necessary.

Rice

When rice ferments and forms a fungus, it can repel ants.

What should you do?

  • Spread some white rice around the areas where you see ants regularly.
  • When you do this, the ants will drop whatever they were carrying to bring the grains of rice to their nests.
  • Once in the nest, the heat will cause the rice to ferment, achieving the desired effect.

Peppercorn

  • Mix equal parts of ground pepper and water, and put it in a spray bottle.
