  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g cup of wheat bran
  • 75 g tablespoons of yeast 
  • 7 g sunflower oil (7 g)
  • 30 ml liquid sweetener
  • 1 skim yogurt (whichever flavor you like best)
  • Lemon zest (to taste)


  • First, preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF.
  • Beat the eggs.
  • After, add the beer yeast and sunflower oil.
  • Add the liquid sweetener, the lemon zest and the yogurt.
  • Then, mix well.
  • Pour some on the bottom and sides of the baking pan.
  • Put the batter in the oven for 40 minutes.

2. Cheesecake with Strawberries

Strawberries are ideal for making light sweets. On one hand, they don’t have many calories. On the other, they’re very useful for fighting cholesterol due to containing ascorbic acid, lecithin, and pectin. This makes them the perfect complement for any healthy diet. 

Therefore, if you don’t have anything made and you are craving something sweet, there always no problem eating strawberries whenever you feel like it. They’re excellent with just a bit of sweetener.


  • 100 grams of 0% fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup of yogurt (about 200 g)
  • 125 ml skim milk
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of liquid sweetener (about 30 ml)
  • Strawberries (to taste)


  • First, preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF.
  • Then, mix the cream cheese, yogurt, and milk in an oven-safe pan.
  • Add the cornstarch and liquid sweetener.
  • After, put the cake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Cut the strawberries.
  • Remove the cake, take it out of the pan, and cover it with strawberries.
  • Chill it in the freezer until it’s ready to serve it.

3. Blueberry Muffins

As mentioned above, blueberries and all red berries are elements that you should consider for light sweets. Additionally, they add sponginess, which is a main feature of muffins.

This dessert isn’t really that good to frequently snack on. It’s perfect for those moments you feel like having a little treat.


  • 1/2 cup of pastry flour (100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (5 g)
  • Lemon zest (to taste)
  • Blueberries (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil (100 g)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of liquid sweetener (30 ml)


  • First, preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF.
  • Then, cut the blueberries in very small pieces.
  • Mix the sweetener and the sunflower oil in a large bowl.
  • Add the eggs one by one while mixing continuously.
  • When you have a homogeneous mixture, add the honey, lemon zest, and blueberries.
  • Then, sift the pastry flour and baking powder and add it to the mix.
  • Keep on mixing until it becomes doughy.
  • Put a little bit of oil in the pan.
  • Add the dough to the pan.
  • Place in oven for 30 minutes.

You can include these recipes in your diet at least once ever two weeks. On the contrary, you may feel like you’re giving into temptation. Whenever you feel this way, you are more likely to eat something high in fat or give up on your diet entirely.
