  • Tip the ginger and dandelion into a pan containing water.
  • Heat the water over a low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Cover the pan and leave it to sit until the water is warm.

How to take it

  • Drink a cup of this infusion first thing in morning, before breakfast, and again in the middle of the afternoon.
  • Do this over 15 consecutive days, stop for 15 days, and then resume.

2. Kale, celery, and cucumber juice

This green juice is ideal for optimizing pancreas function and improving digestion because of its detoxifying properties.

It’s recommended for spikes in sugar levels since it improves production and utilisation of insulin.


  • 2 sticks of celery
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 3 kale leaves
  • 1 glass of water (200 ml)


  • Wash the celery and chop into small chunks.
  • Slice the cucumber and put it in a blender with the celery.
  • Add the kale leaves and the glass of water and process everything for a few moments.
  • Serve the drink without straining it.

How to take it

  • Drink on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, over 2 or 3 consecutive weeks.
  • Repeat this every 2 months.

3. Milk thistle drink

It’s often recommended when you suffer from indigestion or when there is a sign of poor pancreas function.


  • 1 tablespoon of milk thistle (10 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)


  • Add the water and milk thistle to a pan and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Cover the pan, leave it to cool, and serve.

How to take it

  • Drink one cup of this infusion every day, for a minimum of 2 weeks.
  • Do this every 2 or 3 months.

4. Purple basil drink
