Why should I drink alkaline water?

First of all, it’s important to tell you about its benefits and why we should be drinking it several times a week. To begin with, the pH of the body is measured on a scale between 0 and 14, with 7 being neutral. Anything over 7 is alkaline and anything under is acidic.

It’s thought that for the body to remain healthy, it’s pH must stay between 7.35 and 7.45. The problem is that our diets are becoming more acidic. Most people are not aware that a large percentage of the foods we normally consume can alters these levels.

  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan rose salt
  • 4 pints purified water.


  • Firstly, wash the lemon with a little water and apple cider vinegar to disinfect it.

This alkaline drink is not recommended for those with high blood pressure. The dosage shouldn’t exceed three times daily, as too much can over-alkalize the body.
