Why do dark spots appear in your armpits?

However, these dark spots are more likely to appear in women with darker skin than those with light skin. And, admittedly, it’s also more likely that after your hormones stabilize you won’t recover your original pigmentation either.

How can you eliminate dark spots in the armpits?
Firstly, it’s about prevention.
It’s important to make sure your skin is well hydrated, both by ingesting plenty of liquids as well as by using moisturizing creams or lotions. When you expose your skin to the sun, don’t forget to use a good sunscreen to stop the sun from adding its contribution to the effects of your hormonal changes.

2. Breast milk

Simply extract a little bit of milk, apply it to the dark spots in your armpits and leave it to dry. You can also try this on dark spots you already had before pregnancy.
- Make a paste with two tablespoons of oats, one tablespoon of honey and the juice of one lemon.
- Apply the mixture to your armpits and leave it to act for 15 minutes.
Then, remove it with warm water. You can do this procedure while your baby is taking a nap and you have a few minutes to spend on yourself.
- Mix 10 drops of glycerine, 10 drops of lemon juice and 10 drops of almond oil or olive oil in a container.
- Apply this mixture to the dark spots before having a shower.
- Wait for a few minutes then wash as usual.
It’s always good to do a gentle exfoliation once a week.
- To do this, prepare a mixture of one tablespoon of natural yogurt with one tablespoon of oats.
- Apply it to your armpits with gentle massaging motions.
- Leave it to act for five minutes, then remove with warm water.
- It’s a good idea to apply a moisturizing cream afterwards.
6. Oxygenated water
You can apply oxygenated water to the skin of your armpits.
