6 Uses of Beer for Your Hair & Skin

· May 12, 2016
Remember to open the beer a few hours before using it to let the carbonation dissipate. To keep from drying out your hair you can opt to use a non-alcoholic variety

Beer is one of the most consumed alcoholic beverages in the world. Most people prefer an ice cold beer on a hot day, when it’s a most refreshing drink, but beer for your hair and skin is a cosmetic trick.

While excessive consumption of alcohol can be harmful to many of your body’s important organs, it’s been shown that when you drink it in moderation, it can provide significant benefits to your health thanks to its nutritional content.

Moreover, aside from just drinking it there are some alternative beauty applications for beer that most people are unaware of.

It contains antioxidant compounds, for example, as well as proteins and vitamins that improve the condition of your skin and hair.

It also turns out to be a great treatment to include regularly in your beauty routine because it provides acids, enzymes, and other healthy compounds derived from the fermentation process.

Want to know how to use beer to improve the appearance of your skin and hair? Don’t miss out on the following six treatments you can make with any kind you have on hand.
