How to use it

  • Put several basil levels in the blender and blend them until you have a paste.

  • 1 glass of water (200 ml)

How to use it

  • Add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of tepid water and drink twice a day.
  • Optionally, dilute equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and apply 3 drops to the affected ear.

4. Garlic

Garlic is a natural remedy that can combat ringing in the ears when these are caused by low temperatures or sudden changes in altitude. Ingredients

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil (15 g)

How to use it

  • Fry two ground cloves of garlic in a tablespoon of sesame oil, and then filter and let cool.
  • Put 2 drops of the oil in the ear canal and tilt your head for a few minutes so that it can take effect.
  • Repeat every day for a week.

5. Ginger

Ginger’s medicinal properties make it a great help when dealing with tinnitus thanks to its ability to improve circulation, as this study from the Chinese Medical University in Pekin affirms.

Its anti-inflammatory compounds reduce the inflammation of the ear and calm the sensation of pain and tension.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon of grated ginger (5 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)

How to use it

  • Add half a tablespoon of grated ginger to a cup of hot water and drink the infusion 2 or 3 times a day.
  • Optionally, cut a slice of raw ginger and chew it for a few minutes. This will control the pressure in the ear and noticeably reduce the ringing.

6. Mustard oil

The anti-fungal and anti-oxidant properties of mustard oil can be used in the treatment of tinnitus and ear infections.

As it’s antimicrobial, it creates a protective barrier in the ear canal to prevent inflammation and bacterial attacks.

How to use it

  • Warm a little mustard oil in the microwave and then put 3 drops in the affected ear.
  • Tilt your head and remove the excess earwax.
