If you suffer from the inability to control your bladder, thus experiencing urinary incontinence, you might need some type of remedy for this problem.

There are many people who, for various reasons, suffer from urinary incontinence. This condition is usually treated using allopathic medicine and even surgery in some cases. However, it can also be improved with natural medicine. In this article, we’ll tell you about five natural remedies to help relieve urinary incontinence.

Urinary incontinence

Urinary incontinence is a condition that occurs when a person is unable to control the leakage of urine from their urethra, the tube through which urine leaves the body. This may only happen occasionally or all the time.

There are several types of urinary incontinence:

Stress incontinence

Have you ever suffered a leakage of urine when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercising? If so, you could be experiencing stress urinary incontinence. It occurs when the pelvic muscles have weakened.

This type of incontinence is more common in women who suffer from pelvic prolapse or who’ve had more than one vaginal delivery.

Urge incontinence

You feel a sudden and urgent need to urinate, but you don’t have enough time to get to the bathroom because your bladder contracts at inappropriate times and urine leaks out.

This can happen because of problems with the nerves of the urinary system, the pelvic muscles, and your ability to respond to the need to urinate.

Overflow incontinence

You feel as if your bladder isn’t completely empty after urination. This causes a constant trickle of urine after urination.

You feel like your bladder is full, even though it only contains a small amount of urine.

Mixed incontinence

This is a mixture of stress incontinence and urge incontinence. If you suffer from mixed incontinence, you can experience urine leakage linked to urgency as well as exertion.
