2 Minutes of Meditation for Better Health

Most people will probably have heard that many illnesses are created in the mind; that a negative person, full of unhealthy emotions is more likely to become ill than those who live with a positive and hopeful attitude. 

Although we can’t deny the significance of genetic and environmental factors, we can value the impact that a healthy life has on our body and mind.

2 minutes a day…

That’s why it is so important that every day you take 2 minutes for deep meditation, forgetting about your daily problems, and connecting with your interior to cleanse all negative attitudes or emotions that you may have experienced in the day.

This could seem unbelievable, but it is impressive how one simple attitude change can transform your life.  A stressed body is more vulnerable to any disease because the immune system is weakened.  In short, your defences become exhausted.

If you were to start considering meditation for better health, as a tool to find balance in the body and mind, you would be taking a very important step.

Breathe deeply…

HappinessAccompanying your meditation with slow, deep breaths is even more advantageous.  A lot of times, and without even noticing, our breathing becomes shallow in our day to day.  The necessary oxygen for cells then doesn’t arrive correctly to the lungs and the whole process is slowly diminished. Oxygen is an indispensable element for good bodily health.  Meditation helps reduce cardiac frequency, allowing the heart to work more harmoniously.  You’ll notice how the speed of your heartbeats reduces as well as your constant tension.

Personal understanding…

It might seem a little illogical to say that through meditation one can get to know oneself more day by day.  But it is true to say that a lot of times, you could find yourself sad or dissatisfied, and you can’t find the real reason you feel that way.  What happens is that with all those worries and obligations, your internal self becomes forgotten, and you become a machine that leaves its deepest needs behind.  All of that is the primary cause of unhappiness.

We live according to society’s demands; what you should do, with a defined agenda.  Have you ever stopped to think if the situation you’re living right now is what you truly want?  Are you living to please other people?

Help yourself with daily meditation.  I promise you that you will be able to find all the answers in your interior.  Remember that it is never too late to start you path to true happiness, do not fear searching for your true self.

Love yourself and believe in yourself…

Get to know your interior and most importantly, learn to love yourself.  This is the only way that you will be able to project the wonderful human being that you are.  In order for others to love you, first you need to love yourself.  In order for others to respect you, you need to do it first, and it’s the same in order for them to believe in you, to show all your potential, and to enjoy a full life, free of fears, facing challenges, and cultivating your abilities.

For this, use this wonderful meditation.  Eliminate barriers in our body and mind, make them work in complete harmony.  Eliminate negative thoughts and replace them by positive ones.  You and your loved ones will thank you and will repay you for this change.  Get inspired and discover from day to day the fantastic positive effects of meditation in your life.  You will be able to achieve that ever longed-for interior peace.
