Having healthy and beautiful hair without using dangerous or costly products is what we are going to talk about today. Specifically, we are going to provide recipes for homemade creams that can soften your hair naturally and help get rid of frizz.

Whether you do it to look good at work or for any other activity that you do, you need to keep in mind that using both colors in your hair and chemical products, like the ones that are around today, could be dangerous to your health.

Soften your hair naturally

So read on to find out about how to soften your hair without spending too much or using chemical products.

You need to remember that even though natural products won’t damage your health, you need to be patient and consistent with them.  Also, it all depends on your hair type.  Of course, if it’s very frizzy, these creams will help it to be more manageable.  They reduce frizz that is oftentimes produced by an excess of moisture in the air, or from very damaged hair.  It doesn’t work miracles, however.

Homemade creams to soften your hair

Coconut milk and lemon juice

Coconut to soften your hair

In order to make this homemade cream to soften your hair, you need to add the juice from one lemon into one glass of coconut milk.  Make sure to mix all ingredients well, and then cool them in the fridge. Leave them in the fridge until you notice a creamy film forming on top.
Apply the mixture equally to your hair and then let sit for about 20 minutes.  One important thing to remember is to cover your hair with a towel or a cloth. This will help the product penetrate better and in turn, soften your hair more effectively.

Once the 20 minutes is up, rinse your hair until the product is completely gone, then wash as you normally do.  If you are consistent with this treatment, it will provide very good results.

Milk and honey cream

Add a few drops of honey to one cup of milk.  Mix well, and then apply uniformly to your hair.  Let sit for an hour and a half, or two hours.  Then rinse and wash your hair with a gentle shampoo.

Olive oil

All natural oils are beneficial for nourishing and restoring hair.  We are going to talk about olive oil now, although almond oil also contains many of these benefits.  These oils bring health back to your hair, making it look and feel much better.
Warm some oil, and be careful not to burn it or yourself.  Apply the warm oil to your hair.  Let it work for a few minutes.  You could also wrap your hair is a thermal cap.  If you don’t have one, you could use a hot towel instead.  Once the time is up, rinse and wash your hair as you normally would.

Remedies with olive ol

If you have oily hair it’s best not to apply the product too close to your roots.  And remember that these types of treatments require patience.  They won’t give you miracle treatments overnight.  You should do this at least twice a week in order to notice that your hair is becoming silkier, shinier, more manageable, and therefore straight.

Chemical products offer quick results but…is it worth it to risk so much?  It’s important that you know that these harmful substances also penetrate the scalp, which is how they enter the bloodstream.

That’s why you should evaluate how necessary it really is to use products that, over time, could harm you.  It’s better to choose natural treatments, which can be done in the comfort of your home without spending so much money.
