  • 5 Tbsp. fresh ginger (50 grams)
  • 3 c. water (750 mL)
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp. organic honey (50 g)


  • Take the fresh ginger root and wash it well. Then grate it with a food grater.
  • Then bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the ginger.
  • Leave on low heat for two minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Squeeze the lemon into it, then add the organic honey.
  • You can consume this infusion warm, although you could also let it set in the fridge for a cold drink.
  • Drink two or three cups a day.


In spite of the fact that ginger water has a lot of benefits, we should also add that there are certain cases in which we do not recommend drinking it.

For example: you should not drink it if you have duodenal ulcers, colitis or Crohn’s diseases, if they are active, this could worsen the pain.
