7 Fruits that Help You Lose Weight

Eating fruit is absolutely necessary to be healthy, but some fruits can also be effective in helping you lose weight naturally.

We’re going to explain which fruits to include in your daily diet and shortly you will notice how they will help you lose weight in a balanced fashion, without losing energy or vitality, eliminating excess fluids, fat and toxins.

This citrus fruit is excellent for cleansing the blood as well as for helping burn excess fat in the body.  People that suffer from heartburn can even eat it, because although it is acidic, it has properties that can alkalize acidity once it hits the stomach.

We recommend drinking it before breakfast, during the day, and also with meals, especially when they are fatty.

Grapefruit is an excellent fruit for weight loss because it helps prevent fluid retention, and it also cleanse the body, takes care of the liver and dissolves fat.

You can eat this fruit whole or as a natural juice.  If you don’t like the bitter taste you could sweeten with a bit of stevia.

You could also consume grapefruit essential oil, especially when the fruit isn’t in season (but to specify, make sure it is for oral use when purchasing it).  Take one drop mixed with a bit of honey or oil every morning.

Due to its high water content, watermelon is a very satiating food that will prevent you from over-eating while also working as a magnificent diuretic.  More than 90% of its weight is water, and it only has 20 calories in 100 grams of watermelon.

It’s also rich in vitamin C, B group vitamins, potassium and licopene, a pigment which helps prevent cancer.

It’s important that you don’t eat it mixed with meals or as a dessert, because due to the sugar and water content, it will mix negatively with digestion and will cause you to gain even more weight.  We do recommend eat it before breakfast, however, or between meals by itself.  Do not mix it with other foods as this is when you will notice its greatest benefits.

You can eat it whole or as a smoothie, with a shot of lemon juice.  Do not remove the seeds, because these too are beneficial.

Berries like raspberries, blackberries or blueberries stand out because of their high fiber content and their ability to regulate sodium levels.  But they also contain anthocyanins, components that support sugar and fat assimilation, making these fruits indispensable for losing weight without making sacrifices.  In order to benefit the most from these properties, we recommend consuming them mid-morning or mid-afternoon, just like strawberries.  You can also find them freeze dried or in jams or juices without any additional sugar.

A lot of people consider apples to be a boring fruit, but it is one of the most healthy of fruits and it’s recommended to eat one a day.  If organic, eat the skin, which will help your body burn fat due to its ursolic acid.  They are also high in fiber and can be eaten raw, baked, or boiled with a bit of water a cinnamon.

Pears contain two indispensable antioxidants for losing weight, catechins and flavonoids.  They fight fluid retention and also help eliminate toxins and fat in the body.  You could eat exclusively pears for dinner for one week, eating a balanced diet throughout the rest of the day, and you will quickly notice weight loss.  You could also eat just pears and pear juice for one day, every two weeks.

Papaya is a delicious exotic fruit that is high in fiber and water and low in calories.  It helps correct protein digestion.  We recommend starting the day with a good sized piece of fresh papaya, or drinking it in a smoothie, to which you could also add a few seeds.  This is an excellent remedy for fighting intestinal parasites, which often times increase appetite.  It is also rich in vitamin C, folic acid, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin E, and vitamin K.
