3. Broccoli


One of the healthiest and most recommended vegetables, broccoli is one of those wonderful crucifers, such as cauliflower or Brussels sprouts, that are rich in protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E, K and all of the valuable components belonging to B vitamins. Therefore, by being rich in natural vitamin B3 and B6 they are excellent to care for and enhance our memory. One suggestion: they are best when eaten steamed or raw because that is the best way to transmit their benefits.

4. Walnuts


Surely this fact you already knew. Walnuts are the nuts most recommended by doctors for our health, to improve cholesterol levels and enhance our brain capacities. But what is their secret? They have linolenic acid, omega-3, fiber, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, folic acid, magnesium, copper selenium, flavonoids and of course vitamin E. They are healthy for the heart and brain, but only eat 3 to 4 a day, not more, because they have a fairly high calorie index.

5. The healthy oily fish


How much fish do you eat per week? It is important that it be oily fish. The reason oily fish is always recommended is because it contains essential polyunsaturated fats such as Omega-3, so necessary for the health of the heart and brain. Ideally you should eat oily fish from 3 to 4 times a week. Everyone in the family should eat it, children and adults, don’t forget!

6. Chocolate


Are you glad we included chocolate in this list? Certainly, it could not be left out. But of course, you must consume it in moderation and balance, remembering that the healthiest chocolate is the one with the most cacao. It is said that the best approach is to eat an ounce of dark chocolate per day. It is a great antioxidant, contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, and all the vitamins of group B. If we eat it regularly and without overdoing it, it will provide very healthy nutrients for our heart and brain.
